Needle roller bearings are a type of roller bearing with slender cylindrical rollers. The roller diameter is relatively small and the length is long, usually satisfying the ratio of D ≤ 5mm and L/D ≥ 2.5, so they are called “needle rollers”. Although needle roller bearings have a small cross-section, they have strong load-bearing capacity and compact structure. Under the condition that the inner diameter and load capacity are equivalent, the outer diameter is smaller. They are particularly suitable for support structures with limited installation space or compact radial dimensions. They are ideal for small, high-load, high-rigidity mechanical structures.
Needle roller bearings are a structural unit that integrates a slender needle roller structure (for radial loads) with a thrust ball bearing, thrust roller bearing or angular contact ball bearing (for axial loads). This type of bearing has a compact structure and can support loads in both directions at the same time in a limited space, simplifying the design and assembly of mechanical systems.
(1)Ultra-thin design, compact structure
needle rollers are slender, and the outer diameter of the bearing is smaller than other bearing types, saving space
(2)High radial load capacity
despite the small cross-section, it can withstand large radial loads
(3)Flexible matching structure
the structure with or without inner ring can be selected, and needle roller + cage assembly can also be used
(4)Diversified installation
needle roller and cage assembly can run directly on the shaft and housing hole as a raceway
(5)Lightweight design
simple structure, suitable for mechanical systems that require lightweight and compactness
